Liverpool legend John Barnes believes the Reds will compete for the Premier League title with Manchester City this season, but has warned German manager Jurgen Klopp. must manage the use of players with caution

Barnes, 57, who played at Anfield between 1987-1997, commented on Best of Bates UK Legal Betting Company On Wednesday, August 18, he said: “Of course they (Liverpool) have the right to win the league, but Man City too.”  

 “Man Utd look as strong as Chelsea, especially after they signed Romelu Lukaku, but I think Liverpool and Man City will compete for the top two, followed by Man City. United and Chelsea may not be ranked in this order.

“I believe if Liverpool can keep all the players fit all the time. Or at least there is a key player in use. They will go a long way. I think Virgil van Dijk had a great game last weekend. And it’s great to see him back on the pitch.”

“It seems He has never been through a long injury that is unbelievable with such a serious injury. Liverpool have also played well as a team, however, Klopp has to use his players with caution. as well,” Barnes concluded.
